Guidewire Developer

Weare seeking a Guidewire Developer for our client in the insuranceindustry. In this role you will work closely with globallydistributed teams including business representatives analystsarchitects and engineers to plan design and implement innovativesolutions. Our client fosters a culture that embraces challengingthe status quo focusing on simplifying processes technology andworkflows to deliver impactfulresults.

Whatis in it foryou:

Hourly salary of $95 to $109 based onexperience.
4monthcontract.
Fulltime position:37.50 hours per week.
Hybridwork: 3 days in office subject tochange.

Responsibilities:

Efficiently review and analyze softwarerequirements.
Build architecturaldiagrams and design documents.
Design and implement changes in screens business rules andworkflows.
Develop configurepackage and deploy softwareapplications.
Establish andenforce coding standards across theteam.
Debug test and peerreviewcode for quality assurance.
Mentor and guide junior teammembers.

Whatyou will need tosucceed:

Bachelor s degree (or higher) in Computer Science ComputerEngineering or a related field or equivalentexperience.
10 years of provenexperience in Guidewire Application Development with a focus onGuidewire BC Configuration.
Knowledge of Guidewire PC Configuration is anasset.
Expertise in GOSU languageGuidewire tools accelerators batch processing and predefinedplugins.
Strong ability to readcode in other languages and reverse engineerproducts.
Proficiency in Agilesoftware development with experience using tools like Git BitbucketJenkins Jira and Confluence.
Domain knowledge in Property & CasualtyInsurance.
Guidewire CloudCertification is required.
7years of experience in Guidewire development and coding RESTfulAPIs.
7 years of experiencecoding in languages such as C# Java andPython.
Proficiency in relationaldatabases especially MS SQL Server and TransactSQL.
Experience designing anddeveloping business databaseapplications.
Expertise increating modern web applications and designing Web APIs usingREST/JSON.
Strong understandingof design thinking and customercentric developmentprinciples.
