This is an Expression of Interest to build our pool of Pipefitters for oilfield roles based out of Edson, Alberta.

As a Pipefitter, you'll be immersed in various tasks, from studying blueprints and layouts to assembling and installing pipes, valves, and fittings. If you hold a Journeyperson or Apprentice Pipefitter ticket/certification, possess the necessary safety certifications, and are physically capable of handling the job's demands, we encourage you to apply.

What would you be doing?

Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the type of pipe and instruments to use and lay out the sequence of tasks.  Draft detailed sketches for pipe and equipment fabrication and installation. Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble, and install metal, plastic, and fibreglass pipes, valves, and fittings. Join pipe sections and related equipment and secure in position. Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks.  Maintain and repair piping systems. 

Does this sound like you?

Journeyperson or Apprentice Pipefitter ticket/certification. Valid H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, and CSO (Common Safety Orientation) tickets. Oilfield maintenance is an asset. Being mechanically inclined is an asset. Enjoy a varied workload. Must have your own reliable transportation. Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required. Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
