Quality Engineer/QC Lead responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement quality control systems, procedures, and policies in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.
  • Establish and maintain documentation related to quality management systems, including quality manuals, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Lead the implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes for new product development and introduction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure APQP requirements are met throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Conduct audits to assess compliance with quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to customer-specific quality standards and specifications.
  • Coordinate external audits and regulatory inspections as required.
  • Utilize statistical methods and quality tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) initiatives to address quality issues and drive process improvements.
  • Implement and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve quality performance.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to establish quality requirements and conduct supplier audits and assessments.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address quality issues through corrective action plans.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on quality management systems, procedures, and tools.
The successful candidate has: 
  • Degree in Engineering or related experience in QC and QA
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in quality engineering or related roles, with a strong understanding of ISO 9001 and APQP.
  • Previous audit experience will be preferable.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and quality management software.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and manage multiple priorities.
