Position Overview

The security officer is responsible for the protection of the hospital, its employees, assets and property, by monitoring the conduct of visitors and persons on the premises, by alerting suspicious persons, activities and hazardous conditions found on rounds and by controlling the parking and traffic flow in the parking lot.

12-hour shifts

On-call position to do replacements.

As a pre-condition of employment:

What we are looking for

-Valid security guard license MANDATORY
(as per Private Security and Investigative Services Act, 2005)
-High school Diploma
-This position requires the incumbent to walk extensively.
-Must have initiative, tact and good interpersonal relations.
-Possess a working knowledge of both official languages
-Ability to work with computers
-C.P.R.
