Pembina Trails School Division invites applications for the position of full-time vice principal, with duties commencing September 3rd , 2024.

As of September 2024, the school will offer grade 9 - 12 English programs for approximately 1125 students with a staff of 105 (65 teachers and 40 support staff). Applicants will have demonstrated successful administrative experience, be knowledgeable in the area of Senior Years programming, be supportive of the practice of inclusion, and have a demonstrated leadership style of shared decision-making. They will also have demonstrated excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to bring people together to achieve a common goal.

It is an asset that candidates be knowledgeable in the area of the needs of second language learners.

Pembina Trails has an expectation that principals will have a Master of Education degree or be working towards completion of one.

A curriculum vitae that combines a resume and cover letter, a statement of educational vision and beliefs, Manitoba Permanent Teacher certificate, confirmation of completion of Commit to Kids or Respect in Schools training, and the names of three references should be included in PDF format in your online application.
