C&A Group is actively recruiting a Shipper/Receiver to join our Manufacturing & Project team in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.

Shipper is required to perform some or all the following duties:
o Determine method of shipment and prepare appropriate shipping documents
o Package goods that are ready to be shipped and co-ordinate pick up with transport company
o Perform loading and unloading of transport trucks
o Unpack received parts and stage in appropriate area
o Verify and record quantities of items received
o Organize documentation in computer system for received and shipped goods
o Inspect all incoming goods and ensure they are received in proper condition
o Operate forklift and telehandler to load/unload trucks
o Understand and follow safe work practices and conform to company polices
o Pick up ordered parts from suppliers
o Deliver parts to customers
o Use truck and trailer to deliver and/or pickup goods
o Maintain proper communication with a C&A staff and customers
o Keeping the yard clean and in order

Desired Skills & Experience:
o Grade 12 diploma with 1 - 2 years of related experience  
o Strong communication skills with supervisory staff, fellow employees, clients, customers, suppliers, vendors, and various service providers
o Strong computer skills – proficient with Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets
o Capable of safely conducting the physical demands of the job
o Ability to manage time and prioritize multiple tasks
o Powered Mobile Equipment operation (Forklift/Telehandler)
o Ability to work in various environments (hot/cold)
o Current and Valid Driver’s License – minimum Class 5 with the ability to drive a manual transmission
o Ability to maintain a professional appearance
