Job description

The Registered Dietitian reports to the Manager, Professional Practitioner.

Accountabilities:

Provide nutrition intervention and education to patients Work within the patient care team Participate in project work as required

Job qualifications

Academic preparation from an accredited Canadian university program in food and nutrition or equivalent Practical training in an accredited practical dietetic internship program in Canada or equivalent Member in good standing (good character and conduct) with the College of Dietitians of Ontario is required Language proficiency in English required Record of ethical and competent practice Excellent organizational and time management skills Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and with a multi-disciplinary team Experience in acute medicine preferred Must demonstrate Osler's Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and Collaboration Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record Travel between and work at all Osler sites may be required

Hours: Currently Days/Evenings, 8 hours, including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)
