ABOUT KINGSWAY COLLEGE SCHOOL (KCS)

KCS is celebrating our 35th anniversary this year. We have been operating our Junior School, JK-8, since , and after a generation’s work, we opened our Senior School in September with a grade 9 class. In June , we will graduate our first class of grade 12 students. We seek a Director of Admissions who would be excited by the variety of opportunities inherent in a growing school.

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

This is a permanent position. KCS offers an excellent compensation package upon hire. Your anticipated start at KCS would be August .

YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 

The Director of Admissions is responsible for enrollment at KCS. This includes supporting marketing initiatives, attracting new families, guiding them through the admissions process, assisting them once they have joined the KCS community, and leading retention efforts.

The Director of Admissions leads the enrollment team in the following areas:

1. Strategic Leadership

2. Recruitment Strategy

3. Admissions Process Management

4. Application Review

5. Retention Initiatives

6. Data Analysis

7. Community Engagement

8. Collaboration

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements

● Previous experience in admissions, enrollment management, or related field, preferably in an independent school setting.

● Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

● Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, and presentation skills.

● Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

● Enthusiasm for the KCS mission and vision

● Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Education plus an extensive record of professional learning, both formal and informal

● Experience outside the educational sector is also viewed as an asset.
