RED SEAL MILLWRIGHT

Schedule: Compressed Work Week (9-hour dayshifts, every other Friday off)

YOUR ROLE

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Red Seal Millwright will primarily be responsible for a range of troubleshooting and repairs to preventative maintenance of the plant. The successful candidate will work within a team of other trades people to execute work across the plant through various planned outages.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

üPreventative maintenance inspections (including repairs and adjustments);

üComplete documentation of inspections and Precision Installation;

üFollow company policies for safety and maintenance;

üOperate hoisting / lifting equipment complete documentation;

üTroubleshoot machinery problems that are impacting production and take action;

üMaintain a clean and orderly work place.

YOUR SKILLS AND ABILITIES

üSafety focused;

üWork well in team and possess a friendly and positive demeanor;

üSelf-directed and works with minimal supervision;

üAbility to manage time and multi-task to accomplish a variety of assignments with conflicting priorities and deadlines;

üExcellent verbal and written communication skills;

üStrong problem solving and analytical skills, excellent judgment and willingness to learn;

üProven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks in an environment with competing demands;

üDetail oriented.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

üInterprovincial Red Seal Millwright Certification;

ü3-5 years of experience working in an industrial work environment;

üExperience using computers, hand-held monitors, and SAP;

üLevel 1 Vibration Analysis training would be considered an asset;

üPrevious experience in condition monitoring would be an asset;

üPossessing dual ticket qualifications is considered an asset.
