RED SEAL PIPEFITTER

YOUR ROLE

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Red Seal Pipefitter will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including troubleshooting, repairs, and general preventative maintenance of the plant. The successful candidate will be a part of a team of other tradespeople to complete work across the plant through various construction and maintenance projects.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

üPreventative maintenance inspections (including repairs and adjustments);

üComplete documentation of inspections;

üInstallation and maintenance of equipment;

üUsing a variety of tools to modify pipes to specifications;

üRepairing and maintaining pipe systems, supports and related equipment;

üComplying with relevant codes and standards;

YOUR SKILLS AND ABILITIES

üSafety Focused;

üSelf-directed and works with minimal supervision;

üAbility to manage time and multi-task to accomplish a variety of assignments with conflicting priorities and deadlines;

üStrong problem solving & analytical skills, excellent judgment, and willingness to learn;

üProven organizational skills;

üDetail oriented;

üWork well in team and possess a friendly and positive demeanor and professional image.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

üInterprovincial Red Seal Pipefitter Certification;

üPossessing Level ‘A’ Gas Ticket is considered an asset;

üPossessing interprovincial Red Seal in Plumbing is considered an asset

üPossessing dual ticket qualifications is considered an asset.

ü3-5 years of experience working in an industrial work environment;

üExperience using computers, hand-held monitors, and SAP;
