We are looking to fill one position within our bakery department. The ideal candidate would be a non-student and should possess prior experience in a retail bakery setting. This candidate should exhibit proficiency in commercial decorating and baking.

In this role you will:

Maintain cleanliness of cake counters and coolers

Fill, maintain and empty counter while carrying out product rotation

Handle customer requests, and special orders

Bake products according to quality and standards

Slice bread

Package and label all products produced (label and display)

Cleaning – vacuum, sweep and mop floors in departments

Ensure product freshness by checking code dates

Provide high quality customer service

Compliance with company policies and standards

Perform any other tasks as assigned by your department manager

Qualifications for the Position:

Prior experience in a retail bakery setting

Proven expertise in baking and cake decoration within a retail environment

A strong commitment to delivering exceptional service and products to customers

Capability to work in cold environments and lift weights exceeding 20 kg

Demonstrated self-reliance

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends

Relevant alternative experience will be taken into consideration for this role

Store Hours:

Monday to Friday: 8am - 9pm

Saturday and Sunday: 8am - 7pm
