Our Bakery Clerks are inspired doers. They help provide a positive in-store shopping experience by ensuring the store is always ready with available products that meet customer needs to live life well. Our Bakery Clerks inspire our customers through delightful conversation and knowledge of products. In this role you will:

- Clean and maintain cake counters and coolers
- Fill, maintain and empty counter
- Fill customer requests, take special orders
- Bake products according to quality
- Slice bread
- Package and label all products produced (label and display)
- Carry out product rotation
- Cleaning - vacuum, sweep and mop floors in departments
- Ensure product freshness by checking code dates
- Provide high quality customer service
- Adhere to company policies and standards in your work
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by your department manager

Job qualifications:

- Bakery experience is considered an asset
- The drive to provide a high quality of service and product to customers
- An ability to work in cold conditions and lift weights in excess of 20 kg
- Self-reliance
- Must be able to work independently and part of a team
- must be available for all shifts including evenings and weekends
- Alternative experience may be considered for the role

Store Hours:
Monday to Friday: 8am - 9pm

Saturday and Sunday: 8am - 7pm
