Position Description:

Reporting to the Director of the Strategic Support in Operations, the selected individual will act as a communication advisor. The communication advisor plays a strategic role by promoting the organization’s action and services to the clientele. They serve as a consulting expert in internal and external communication strategies and activities.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Provide editorial and communication support to various services (internal clients) for operational projects (communications with clients: documents, client notices, capsules, presentations, etc.)
• Coordinate the different stages of communication projects (design, writing, approval, translation, production (layout), delivery, etc.) – Turnkey projects
• Write and revise administrative (20%), operational (50%) and advertising (sales and marketing) (30%) content in French and English and support the implementation of communication materials
• Participate in the development and implementation of the communication and marketing plan and collaborate in the development of communication strategies based on best practices
• Participate in or lead various communication committees; internal committees and partners
• Coordinate the revision and translation of communications and documents produced by other services intended for external clients (training manuals, online aids, version bulletins, forms, telephone messages, etc.)
• Ensure the layout and formatting of certain documents (PowerPoint presentations, training manuals (Word), etc.) and ensure compliance with established standards (templates), under the coordination of the manager

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, public relations, or a related field
• Three to five years of experience in a similar position
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite software • General knowledge of layout and design software (an asset)
• Knowledge of the WordPress content management system (an asset)
• Knowledge of agile development methodology (an asset)
• Excellent writing and translation skills
• Demonstrates creativity

• Able to work under pressure and with short deadlines
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Demonstrates autonomy
• EXCELLENT verbal and written communication skills, in both French and English
