MatrixHR is currently recruiting experienced Pipefitters for a long term project located in BC.

Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified Journeyman Pipefitter to join our team for a long-term role. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pipefitting, a strong understanding of industry standards, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, repair, and maintain piping systems in various settings (commercial, industrial, etc.)
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine pipe layout and installation procedures.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using various tools and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols on the job site.
  • Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with piping systems and provide effective solutions.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Document work performed and maintained accurate records as required.

Qualifications:
  • Valid Journeyman Pipefitter certification in British Columbia.
  • Relevant experience in pipefitting.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools specific to pipefitting tasks.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices in the construction industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • All candidates will be required to pass government clearance 
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada
