Job Title: On-Call Marine Pipefitter

Department: Technical

Reports To: Director of Technical Operations

Albion Marine Solutions provides project management, engineering, consultancy, and conversion services to maritime and offshore industries worldwide.

**Job Duties**
- Schedule materials, tools, and personnel
- Liaise with management, engineers, and other trades.
- Prepare tenders and quotations.
- Connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors, and control equipment
- Install clamps, brackets, and hangers to support the piping system and sprinkler and fire protection equipment, using hand and power tools.
- Install valves, alarms, and associated equipment.
- Join pipes and piping sections using soldering and welding equipment.
- Select, measure, cut, ream, and thread pipe, install sprinkler heads, and mount prepared pipe in supports.
- Service and repair sprinkler system
- Test system for leaks using air or liquid pressure equipment.
- Cut openings for pipes in walls, floors, and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines.
- Install supports, valves, piping, and control systems.
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
- Remove and replace worn components and reactivate the system.
- Select the type and size of pipe required.
- Test system for leaks using testing equipment.
- Weld, braze, cement, solder, and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of the piping system.
- Estimate costs and materials.

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Valid Provincial or Interprovincial Red Seal Steamfitter/ Pipefitter Red Seal certification.
- Valid Steamfitter and Pipefitter Trade Certification

**Skills, Knowledge, and Required Competencies**
- Ability to balance priorities and needs with available resources.
- Good communication skills (Verbal and written)
- Organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- USA B1/B2 or work authorization in USA will be preferred.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $40.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 50 per week
