Responsibilities: Allocate 30% of your time to lead, develop, coach and guide your team in establishing goals and developing their competencies that drive performanceModel the company culture, and exemplify our shared values on a day-to-day basisDefine, model and demonstrate the behaviours that enhance engagement, build enduring relationships and represent the Kit and Ace brand at all timesSupport the development of a culture that balances financial results and an execution-focus with a fun, dynamic and creative atmosphereFoster an environment of continuous learning and development that embraces individualityCoaches and trains Educators, which assists in evolving shop functions and flowSuccessfully communicates special features, benefits, fabric properties, usage, and best care instructionsMaintain knowledge of in-shop stock availability on the sales floor and in backroomsActively maintain shop appearance, keeping merchandise stocked and organized, while ensuring that the shop is clean and well presentedReceives and processes stock from warehouse (Boxes can weigh 10 - 30 lbs) which includes; unpacking, counting, tagging as required, folding, sizing and placing on the floor, with overflow stock in back room and assigned storage areasAssist with re-stocking and pricing duties, including sale and holiday preparation as requiredPrepares merchandise for tailoring/alteration as may be required, by completing necessary documentationArranges for mail and/or delivery, as required, to other locations and/or warehouseCompletes standard opening and closing procedureUtilizes the Point of Sale system accurately, processes payments, refunds and exchanges and issues gift cardsParticipate in staff training and shop events as scheduledSupport in additional duties as directed by management team Competencies: 1+ year management experience preferredAn undergraduate business related degree or diplomaPassion to deliver premier customer serviceDriven to exceed customer’s expectationsOptimistic, passionate, friendly and authenticDemonstrates a sense of urgency and is comfortable working in a team focused environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skills – perceptive to customer needsSecond language skills is an assetCapable of handling difficult customer facing conversations and interactionsHonest and positive, and able to effectively receive and communicate feedbackResults-oriented and process driven, with high expectations of self and teamWork a flexible schedule that will include weekends, evenings, holidays, and special events
