Talent Acquisition Coordinator - 12 month contract

CBI Health is Canada's leading community-based healthcare provider, delivering both rehabilitation and home health services. Our integrated, interdisciplinary network delivers physical and mental health services in clinic, home and facility settings or remotely through virtual care / telehealth. With over 12,000 dedicated staff supporting over 800 communities across the country, we deliver proven outcomes that meet the healthcare needs of Canadians.

Reporting to the Manager, Talent Hub, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator will support the talent acquisition team in the day to day coordination and administration of the recruitment process. In this role, you will partner with your talent acquisition and HR team members and the hiring managers to ensure and support a seamless hiring experience for candidates and hiring managers. 


Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day

Ensure all job postings are posted and managed in a timely manner; Support the review and pre-screening of resumes; Schedule interviews for the talent acquisition team and hiring managers; Facilitate and complete any background checks and references, including follow ups with our third party vendor and/or candidates as required; Follow up/communicate with candidates as directed by the talent acquisition team; Support sourcing and any social recruiting activities; Follow up with candidates to ensure all new hire documentation is ready/completed prior to their start date; Input new hire information into the HRIS system (or other systems as required) including all related documentation; Support new hire employee orientation and any associated preparation materials; Assist the talent acquisition team with the recruitment process, reporting and other documentation as required; Ensure compliance of all current HR policies and procedures; Manage and administer various databases (e.g. data entry, IT Support Portal, etc.); Be a brand ambassador and promote CBI Health as an employer of choice online and all appropriate forums/events; Support with all other recruitment administrative tasks as required.

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful

A university degree is required; 1-2 years of administrative/recruitment experience required; Ability to work independently and also as an effective member of a team; Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task; Strong interpersonal and communication skills; A superior focus on the details, proactive and tech savvy approach; Proficient with various computer programs (e.g. MSWord Suite, Outlook).
