What you will do:

Reporting to the Hardware, Lumber and Home Centre Managers, you will be responsible for:

Responsible for assisting and supporting the hardware and building sales operations in all areas. Strong customer service skillset, maintaining a safe and efficient operation while adhering to all company policies, procedures, and standards. Adherence to asset protection, safe working conditions, Co-op brand/image standards, and product regulatory requirements. Execute sales and marketing strategies, while actively supporting and contributing to community support initiatives and meeting operating budget. Perform general and ongoing maintenance and housekeeping of Co-op facilities and properties. Responds to a variety of routine and non-routine customer inquiries, gauges customer needs and service satisfaction levels, and ensures issues are dealt with in a timely manner. Willingness and ability to learn and advance knowledge in hardware and building supplies sales and quoting. Assisting the growth and success of the Home Centre as a whole. Other related duties as required and assigned.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:

You have a minimum of high school. Post secondary education is an asset. 1 – 3 years of progressive and successful retail and/or customer service experience. Background in construction/lumber and project quoting is considered an asset. Must be capable of lifting to 25kg repetitively. Must have valid class 5 drivers license, Class 3 & Class 5 not necessary but considered an asset. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
