Responsibilities:
  • Sweep and mop floors in entire buildings.
  • Empty trashcans, waste containers, and outside waste.
  • Clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures.
  • Dust and clean all office furnishings (desks, shelves, equipment, computers, copiers, etc.).
  • Keep walkways and stairways clear.
  • Perform general cleaning on the exterior of buildings (windows and doors).
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Report any damages or non-functioning equipment requiring replacement (general maintenance).
Requirements:
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Must be physically fit to carry out cleaning tasks.
  • Minimum two years of janitorial experience
  • Ability to work independently
  • Be responsible, dependable, and able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment and adhere to health and safety protocols.
  • A vehicle is an asset as it is a remote community.
