Chef d’équipe – Investigations géologiques et géotechnique (Expression d'intérêt)

Les membres de notre équipe sont appelés à travailler dans un environnement stimulant et à toucher à des domaines variés tels que les transports (routes, ponts, trains légers, ports et liens ferroviaires), les tunnels (transport, eau, , l'énergie (digues et barrages, lignes de transmission électrique, éoliennes et parcs solaires), et les bâtiments (centres de distribution, commerciaux, industriels, multi-étagés avec plusieurs niveaux de sous-sol, , le tout en favorisant le développement d'innovations techniques.

Nous sommes donc présentement à la recherche d’un (ou une) chef d’équipe ou superviseur(e) démontrant un fort leadership combiné à un bon équilibre d’expérience pratique et technique, permettant de diriger un groupe de professionnels capables de livrer des investigations géotechniques complexes faisant appel aux meilleures pratiques de l’industrie, tant au niveau des méthodes de sondages que des essais in-situ et de laboratoire réalisés, tout en respectant les exigences élevées de GHD vis-à-vis la santé-sécurité.

Principales responsabilités
• Assurer l’encadrement et la supervision d’une équipe œuvrant en investigations géotechnique en collaboration avec le directeur régional en s’impliquant à différents niveaux de gestion de personnel, gestion de clients et marchés, et de gestion technique de projet;
• Préparer la correspondance technique, les propositions de projet, les rapports techniques, les plans de travail, les spécifications de projet, les estimations des coûts et les budgets;
• Coordonner des projets de petite à grande envergure, en assurant le respect des échéanciers et des budgets et en coordonnant le personnel;
• S’impliquer de manière active dans le processus complet de la gestion de projets (contrat, aspects financiers et suivi de budgets, gestion des efforts des ressources, vérification de la qualité technique, communication et suivi avec le client, ;
• Participer aux différents processus d’appels d’offres, et lorsque requis dans le cadre de projets multidisciplinaires d’envergure, en collaboration avec d’autres équipes de travail, disciplines ou partenaires;
• S’assurer de suivre et faire respecter les normes de qualité et de sécurité de GHD;
• Contribuer au développement des relations avec les partenaires d’affaires actuels et à la recherche de nouveaux clients;
• Évaluer, gérer et mitiger les risques géotechniques autant par rapport à GHD que vis-à-vis les clients et leur accompagnement dans cette démarche;
• Interpréter les conditions du sol et comprendre leur impact sur la conception et construction;
• Participer et approuver les notes de calculs et analyses requises (résistances géotechniques, tassements, stabilité de pente ou de murs de soutènement, de manière analytique ou numérique;
• Surveillance et interventions en chantier pour assurer la conformité et le respect des procédures.
• Participer et approuver la rédaction de rapports géotechniques, de rapports de données géotechniques, d’analyses de risques et de rapports de paramètres de référence géotechnique (« GBR »). 
• Veiller à l’amélioration continue du groupe dans ses services et au niveau du développement des compétences des membres de l’équipe;
• Jouer un rôle clé dans le mentorat et le développement techniques des jeunes professionnels.

Formation et compétences
• Baccalauréat en génie civil, génie géologique ou en science;
• Minimum 10 années d’expérience en géotechnique.
• Membre de l’Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec, un atout.
• Posséder un permis de conduire valide et un véhicule.
• Bilinguisme (français et anglais*) parlé et écrit;
• Détenir la carte ASP Construction;
• Personne dynamique et prête à travailler en équipe dans un environnement où les activités se déroulent à un rythme rapide;
• Capacité à s’adapter aux exigences et priorités en constante évolution.
• Expérience pertinente de gestion de projets et de personnel;
• Axé sur le travail d’équipe, la performance et l’atteinte des objectifs;

*Dans le cadre de cette fonction, vous devrez intervenir avec des clients clés internes et externes dans l’équipe de l’Est du Canada et les équipes canadiennes ou mondiales de façon régulière, autant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.
