Process Plant Maintenance Planning and Reliability General Supervisor

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE
:Reporting to the Mill Maintenance Superintendent, you will be part of the Mill Maintenance Department. You will be responsible for leading and scheduling all process plant planning & reliability activities to support the achievement of production goals in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
Collaborate with maintenance personnel to execute an effective maintenance strategy; Operate in compliance with all applicable legal and engineering standards and specifications; Continuously monitor, develop and implement best and most effective practices to assure quality, safety and efficiency of procedures; Assess and evaluate company and contractor SOP’s with respect to efficiency and quality, as well as from a safety, health and environment perspective; Investigate and analyze equipment breakdown history/trends to resolve maintenance practice deficiencies and improve the quality of repairs; Support team in the achievement of annual targets through the effective use of resources.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or the equivalent combination of education and experience; 5+ years in planning and reliability management; 10+ years in large scale process plant maintenance; Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) designation is an asset; Exposure to project management techniques; Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
