As Research and Policy Analyst, you will support the Customer Experience team in developing internal policies, analytics, and methods for program and performance evaluation and monitoring. You will take the lead on recommendations and project plans related to continuous improvement and prepare staff for organizational change. Primary duties include:

Collaborate with staff across Calgary Housing Company on continuous improvement projects that arise from research and evaluation findings, providing supports such as project management, facilitation, engaging internal and external partners (including affordable housing residents), and conducting best practices research. Conduct research activities and program evaluation, including literature reviews, environmental scans, data collection and analysis, and thematic analysis. Develop effective operational policies aligned with best practices that support the strategic vision of Calgary Housing Company; support training, implementation, continuous improvement, and change management efforts. Support the development of performance measures related to social outcome indicators, working with management and staff to utilize the information provided through these measures to improve service delivery. Participate in research projects with partners as a Subject Matter Expert. Qualifications  A degree in Social Sciences, Human Services, Economics, Business, Public Policy, Public Administration, or a related field. At least 5 years of relevant experience that includes social policy research and policy development is required. Applied knowledge of research methodology and data analysis is essential to success in this position. The ability to provide evidence-based interpretation of research results and produce a variety of research communications (for example: briefing notes, fact sheets, reports, data visualizations, presentations) is essential. Experience with data analysis and related software is an asset. Excellent communication skills including presentation and group facilitation skills.
