Are you currently looking for a new opportunity in Dorval in the transport industry? Do you have experience as a shipper/receiver?

Our client is currently looking for a bilingual shipper receiver to service their clients needs and coordinate orders with drivers. This person will have several different tasks as part of the ongoing day to day measures.

Responsibilities
- Check that the merchandise corresponds to the purchase order and the packing slip
- Pack products to prevent breakage
- Fill in the delivery note on all packages with the corresponding weight
- Prepare shipping papers and contact shipping companies.
- Perform merchandise receiving tasks and/or forklift operator duties
- Place merchandise on shelves and/or prepare and issue merchandise orders

Qualifications
- Must be capable of applying effective communication skills orally and in writing.
- Must have proven analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experience in and a solid understanding of warehousing and distribution.
- Must be familiar with all relevant material handling equipment.
- Must possess knowledge of all applicable health and safety legislation.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time.
