In Room Dining Server

Join our prestigious team as an In Room Dining Server, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our valuable guests within the comfort and privacy of their rooms. As a vital member of our luxury hospitality environment, you will embody our commitment to unparalleled service and attention to detail.

Provide personalized and attentive service to guests, ensuring their dining preferences and special requests are met with precision and care. Responsible for maximizing the revenue of every order by upselling in a professional manner. Adhere to Food and Beverage standards and Fairmont Palliser policies to ensure a luxury experience for our guests. Provide professional and personalized service while make the guest comfortable in their room Effectively communicate with kitchen and service staff to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of orders, maintaining the highest standards of presentation and quality. Uphold impeccable standards of cleanliness and organization in all aspects of service, including room table setup, presentation of amenities, and maintenance of service area Responsible for clearing all the trays and tables on each floor and ensuring the dishwasher area is well-organized, with a focus on preventing dirty carts from accumulating in the vicinity of the dishwasher Ensuring that all the monthly side duties for your department are completed successfully. Must be well organized individual and able to work in an unsupervised environment by directing self and others to fulfil the needs of the guests. Maintains a safe and clean work environment and ensures that all Health & Safety standards are met, procedures followed and has the knowledge and tools to work safely. Maintain awareness of, and ensuring compliance with all food safety & hygiene policies and procedures (as outlined by the EHC manual) are followed at all times. Maintain awareness of, and ensuring compliance with all sustainability and food waste reduction/diversion policies, procedures and programs at the hotel. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive team environment, contributing to the overall success of our luxury hospitality operation.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of prior experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality preferred, with a demonstrated passion for delivering exceptional service experience. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining composure and professionalism under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish genuine connections with guests. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate the needs of our guests and ensure seamless service delivery. Commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and excellence in all aspects of your role. Must be able to read, speak and understand English language.
