Description

ThisControls Specialist role is a handson opportunity to support acritical controls project at the Fort McMurray site. Keyresponsibilitiesinclude:

  • SystemProgramming:Develop implement and test automation programs using iFIX SCADA andSchneider M580PLCs.
  • SystemIntegration:Work with additional systems such as Delta V and Automation Directto ensure seamless operationalintegration.
  • FieldOperations:Conduct onsite programming testing and troubleshooting to supportreliable and efficient systemperformance.
  • Collaboration &Documentation:Coordinate with onsite teams preparing reports on systemperformance troubleshooting processes and continuousimprovements.

Requirements

Theideal candidate will be an exceptional individual and possess thefollowingqualifications:

  • PLC &SCADAExpertise:Intermediate experience with iFIX SCADA and Schneider M580 PLCswith knowledge of Delta V and Automation Directpreferred.
  • OnsiteAvailability:Willingness to work a 5dayson/2daysoff rotation at the FortMcMurraysite.
  • Technical ProblemSolvingSkills:Strong troubleshooting abilities especially for onsitecommissioning.
  • TeamCollaboration:Ability to work effectively with internal teams and adapt toshifting projectdemands.

Description This Controls Specialistrole is a hands-on opportunity to support a critical controlsproject at the Fort McMurray site. Key responsibilities include:System Programming: Develop, implement, and test automationprograms using iFIX SCADA and Schneider M580 PLCs. SystemIntegration: Work with additional systems such as Delta V andAutomation Direct to ensure seamless operational integration. FieldOperations: Conduct on-site programming, testing, andtroubleshooting to support reliable and efficient systemperformance. Collaboration & Documentation: Coordinate withon-site teams, preparing reports on system performance,troubleshooting processes, and continuous improvements.Requirements The ideal candidate will be an exceptional individualand possess the following qualifications: PLC & SCADAExpertise: Intermediate experience with iFIX SCADA and SchneiderM580 PLCs, with knowledge of Delta V and Automation Directpreferred. On-site Availability: Willingness to work a14-days-on/7-days-off rotation at the Fort McMurray site.
