THE OPPORTUNITY

The Home Hardware Debert Dealer Support Centre has multiple openings for term Material Handlers on theDay, Afternoon and Night shifts. As a Material Handler you are responsible for handling, moving, loading, and unloading materials throughout all areas of the Distribution Centre by hand or using a variety of material handling equipment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Responsible to theShift Supervisor for helping to maintain service levels to Home Hardware Dealers. Contributing to the smooth flow of merchandise through the Distribution Centre. Keep work areas clean and organized. Operate material handling equipment and comply with all health and safety regulations. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor to complete all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the shift such aspicking,put away, receiving and shipping.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Good attendancerecordand punctualityis a requirement. Ability to lift 50lbs on a frequent basis. Must be willing to be trained on powered lift equipment. Demonstrate high-quality accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent reading and number skills. A reliable team player with a great attitudeand work ethic. Ability tostand and walk for extended periods of time. A significant output of physical effort is required through lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, etc.The ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds without difficulty on a consistent basis is needed.
