Role Summary:
This role leads a team of Maintenance Technicians, directing tasks and initiatives that enhance production safety, cost-efficiency, and quality. The position reports to the Operations Manager.
 

Responsibilities:

Lead maintenance teams, providing performance feedback and facilitating the resolution of complex problems.

Foster collaborative problem-solving and continuous process improvement.

Identify and implement opportunities to develop, simplify, standardize, and automate work processes.

Build and leverage cross-functional relationships to integrate ideas, data, and insights for continuous improvement.

Oversee the creation, maintenance, and governance of production routings, raw material structures, and operational drawings.

Ensure the uptime of critical production assets and manage maintenance work orders.

Manage the preventive maintenance program and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors.

Support operational activities link to SO, including R&D and continuous improvement (CI) projects.

Perform assigned electrical tasks and participate in safety initiatives, creating action plans to address safety concerns.

Promote training and development within the maintenance team.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
 

Experience/Skills:

BS or BA Degree in a relevant field with 5-7 years of relevant experience.

Electrical trade certification (309A or 442A).

Experience in manufacturing with leadership responsibilities in a similar environment.

Demonstrated collaborative problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mentality.

Proven ability in employee coaching, performance management, and talent development.

Proficient in daily SFM with an emphasis on root cause analysis.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
