Our client in the Markham Region is growing and looking to expand their team and bring an assistant skilled machine operator/printing press operator in their facility.

Job title: Printing Press Operator.
Must have experience in the printing industry
Knowledge of using CI presses.

Shift Timings are Afternoon: 3PM - 11:00PM
Pay: $24-$28 per hour.

Responsibilities
-Safely sets up, operates, and monitors press machinery and equipment as intended and needed to meet customer and production goals.
-Completes press machine setup for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment to ensure proper operation.
-Monitors the production process, inspects and tests materials and equipment using safe and proper protocols, to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas are met.
-Verifies and tracks all materials for inventory and work in progress regulations.
-Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery operating efficiently.
-Keeps machinery and surrounding areas organized by meeting housekeeping, storage, staging, and cleanliness requirements.
-Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, to prevent accidents or injuries. Wear appropriate-personal protective equipment(PPE) as required by safety policies and reports any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate team member.
-Completes all necessary documentation for internal or external use.
-Effectively works with other departments or team members, such as machine technicians, supervisors, and quality control inspectors, to coordinate production activities and address any potential issues as they
arise.
-All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
HS/GED required; HS/GED preferred
2-4 years of experience in a related field experience in a related field required.
This position has no leadership duties.
Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
