The Technology Architect will collaborate with the other Architects, DevOps Leads and squad team members to define target state solutions and architecture. The Technology Architect for New Business Experience will be accountable for the end-to-end solutioning from first interaction by a client/advisor , through to point of settlement. This includes progressive identity, quick quote/illustration, application, underwriting and settlement experiences along with integrations of 3rd party vendor solutions.


What you will bring:


* Experience in defining blank-page solutions based on client journeys and/or experiences, including participation in Human Centre Design workshops; insurance or financial services experience an asset

* Experience leveraging and integrating vendor platforms, including holding vendors to a technical standard

* Experience with Cloud Native (12-Factor) Architecture and Infrastructure Pattern

* Experience with Cloud Providers, Azure preferred and with PaaS

* Experience with and knowledge of common Architecture patterns (e.g. Microservices, SOA, Event sourcing, etc.).

* Experience with data and application integration patterns (Domain-Driven, APIs, messaging, streaming, sync/async).

* Experience with developing PWA, SPA, and Responsive web applications, along with IdPs, .Net/C#, Angular/React

* Experience working in MS SQL Server environments

* Deep understanding of business capability definitions, data modelling, integration layers

* Designing and solutioning for generating and sending communications including contact orchestration, preferences/permissions, contact-lifecycle

* 10 years of combined relevant experience and an advanced university degree in related discipline(s) with concentration in computer science, engineering, information systems or information technology
