MANAGER, CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS

You’re the Nick Fury of communications, working to help a team of superheroes achieve the organization’s goals. WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead and guide cross-functional teams on projects and programs. Work closely with the Director and stakeholders to develop and execute effective internal and external communication strategies to support business goals. Provide high-quality communications advice, timely research and recommendations to help solve business challenges and manage risk. Collaborate with business units and the executive team to execute communication plans. Provide direction and coaching to the Corporate Communications team. Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. Contribute to the development of strategic plans. Work with various media to create compelling and consistent messages for external and internal audiences. Be accountable for establishing and maintaining employee relations consistent with the organization's values and expected behaviours.

WHAT YOU'VE DONE

You have a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations or a related field. You’re no newbie—you already have 10 years of progressively responsible experience in communication-related roles. You have a minimum of three years in a management or leadership role. You “get” people and know what it takes to create a great experience for your team and for members. You’re experienced in managing communications in a complex, fast-paced environment. You have proven strategic planning abilities, with a focus on managing change and creating innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues and programs. You have proven experience in crisis communications, media relations and reputation management. Your strong analysis and decision-making skills will guide and focus the business unit on success.
