Status : Student

Work schedule is : 8 am to 4:15 pm (day shift)

Status : Student, Full-Time (40 hrs and +)

Start wage: $21.65

Job location : 47 Minas Warehouse Road, New Minas, NS

CHALLENGES WE OFFER:

Must be willing and able to pile feed neatly and stable on pallets being careful not to mix up different kinds of feed and follow HACCP protocol; Must be able and willing to keep accurate counts of feed for bagging records; Must be able and willing to check that bags and tags are properly sewed on and to check to make sure the tags have the correct information; Must be willing and able to operate the forklift, properly store bagged feed in the warehouse; Must be willing and able to work overtime, sometimes on short notice; Must be in adequate physical condition to perform all task required; Must be willing and able to work with other production people; Must operate equipment safely and efficiently; Must be able and willing to keep area neat and tidy; Must be able and willing to do other assigned duties.

Generally, the person in this position will be expected to do more cleaning outside of the designated areas than virtually all others positions.

You are physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs; You are receptive to learn new skills and adapt to change; You can work at heights; You work well within a team as well as work independently.
