We are looking for Licensed and Aprentice 310T Diesel Mechanics/Technicians for our Timmins dealership located at 2439 Riverside Drive, Timmins ON P4R 1M9. This is a full-time permanent position.
Reporting to the Service Manager, this position is responsible to diagnose problems and make repairs to all types of trucks, buses, trailers, and other automotive vehicles.
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance of all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company’s Health and Safety Policy. Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment Read job order, observe and listen to vehicle in operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures. Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components. Document work performed. Overhaul gas or diesel engines. Examine protective guards, loose bolts and specified safety devices on trucks and make adjustments as needed. Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty. Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins. Maintain a safe and clean work environment Other duties may be assignedBasic Qualifications
Licensed or Registered Apprentice (310T) Minimum of 2 years work experience in a truck shop environment Welding experience is an asset Diagnostic tool experience is an asset Good communication skills and work attitude Quality Driven SAP experience is an asset Valid Driver's License and a good driving record Criminal Record Check Driver's Abstract AZ/DZ License is an assetWe Offer the following Benefits
