We are looking for an  Environmental Facilitator  to join our Meadow Lake OSB Division, located in  Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan . Meadow Lake employs employees and safely and sustainably produces million square feet of OSB every year for customers around the world so they can build their homes and their communities.Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

A diploma or degree in environmental science, environmental engineering , or a related discipline. Experience working outdoors , in all weather. Work experience in industrial environments, an asset. Ability to interpret environmental regulations , guidelines , and standards . Self-motivated and results-oriented with a desire to learn and innovate . Ability to work independently with little supervision, as well as part of a team to successfully achieve strategic goals. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate activities with others . Exceptional verbal and written communication skills , particularly technical writing . Proficient use of various office-based software .


In this role, you will:

Coordinate and complete activities related to the collection , assessment , and reporting of environmental monitoring data . This includes requirements associated with the divisions’ surface water, groundwater, soil, and air monitoring programs. Provide guidance and develop employee education on environmental standards and regulatory requirements . Complete routine audits to ensure environmental compliance and facilitate corrective actions as required. Support the preparation of various reports . Evaluate and improve environmental monitoring programs . This can include procedure updates, standard operating plan development, and/or equipment improvements. Coordinate and support contracted work as required.
