Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Maintenance Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair activities of industrial equipment. The Maintenance Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our equipment, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.

What you're responsible for:

Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the teams effectiveness Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the maintenance department Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for equipment to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency Coordinate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance activities during planned downtime periods Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment, ensuring timely and effective resolution of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences Conduct regular inspections to identify signs of wear, damage, or potential failures Initiate and execute maintenance projects to address equipment upgrades, modifications, or replacements as necessary Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and equipment performance metrics Generate reports on equipment reliability, maintenance costs, and downtime for management review

Qualifications

Licensed 433A Millwright Proven experience in maintenance and repair of industrial equipment Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Familiarity with safety protocols and regulatory requirements in an industrial setting Effective communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance situations
