OUR CLIENT
Our client is a Heavy Civil Construction group of companies that is growing in all business lines including Environmental Services.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Proven experience in dispatching materials and/or equipment is an asset.
  • Familiarity with trucking operations and logistics is considered an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication in a diverse work environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and make decisions using sound judgment and critical thinking.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Technical proficiency, including fast typing and data entry skills.
  • Highly proficient in English (oral and written)
  •  Previous experience in a dispatcher role or similar position preferred
WHAT'S REQUIRED
  • Communicating with all Supervisory staff to ensure all equipment and trucking orders are filled within a timely manner
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all dispatch-related communications.
  • Organize trucking services and dispatch-related requests through calls and emails
  • Transmit messages to drivers in a clear and timely manner.
  • Ensure accurate and timely coordination of trucking services to meet project requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery schedules.
  • Monitor and track the progress of trucking services, addressing delays or issues.
  • Provide updates on delivery status and address customer inquiries.
  • Take appropriate action in response to unexpected issues or changes in project plans.
  • Utilize technical proficiency for efficient data entry and communication.
