Parts excellence will fuel Brandt’s growth, both by providing distinctly better customer support, and by delivering profit to Brandt’s dealerships. The Parts Inventory Manager is charged with the overall responsibility of the parts inventory for Brandt’s C&F/MH and is responsible for building a world class parts distribution system including warehousing, pricing, and dealership connectivity. 

Reporting to the Director of Parts Inventory, the Parts Inventory Manager leads the Parts Inventory for Brandt’s Dealerships. The successful candidate will be responsible for all Parts Inventory including inventory management, dealership support, pricing strategies, as well as marketing.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

Provide leadership and management to drive continuous improvement in parts fill, delivery, and efficiency of parts processes, while actively managing parts obsolescence and turn metrics. Create stocking logic to meet the forecasted parts demand. Accountable for stocking logic management of all C&F/MH dealerships, Central Parts Warehouses, currently Calgary, soon to include Moncton, and GTA. Responsible for strategic implementation and inventory management of all future C&F/MH locations. Identify and implement processes to increase efficiencies within parts order planning. Implement supply chain solutions to provide the most efficient service to dealerships and warehouses. Provide leadership on parts pricing strategies to ensure the organization achieves margin expectations while reaching revenue targets. Identify opportunities, implement strategies to market, and grow the overall parts business of Brandt Tractor C&H/MH. Provide guidance and broad communication to Dealerships and Warehouses of Brandt Tractor C&H/MH. Work with the field sales team and others to grow the parts business. Duties as assigned.

Required Experience

The ideal candidate will have previous managerial experience and be a highly motivated individual who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be an analytical thinker and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel. Experience within the Construction and Forestry industry, inventory management, warehousing or supply-chain is preferred. 3-5 years of relevant parts experience and/or post-secondary education in Business Administration, Mathematics, Analytics, or similar discipline would be considered an asset.
