Job Description:As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of client by leading complex data discovery and implementation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Data Discovery: Conduct in-depth analysis of current data, identify gaps, and develop conceptual data models.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including business users, technical teams, and government agencies, to gather and document requirements.
  • Project Management: Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure timely delivery.
  • Data Modeling and Implementation: Work with the implementation team to develop data models and implementation plans, aligning with client's standards and best practices.
  • Solution Architecture: Contribute to the design and architecture of new solutions, including data access, maintenance, and visualization.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with government regulations, standards, and security requirements.

Job Requirements:
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of GIS concepts, data models, and database design.
  • Business Analysis: Proven experience in conducting requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Desired Skills:
  • Experience with geospatial data standards and best practices.
  • Knowledge of public sector processes and regulations in Ontario.
  • Familiarity with GIS software, such as ArcGIS.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
