JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties & Resp:

Performs general accounting month end close activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and capital expenditure schedules Prepare and post journal entries during month end close Prepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles Analyzes and prepares statutory accounts, financial statements and reports Conducts or assists in the documentation of accounting projects. Broad application of principles, theories and concepts in applicable discipline, plus working knowledge of other related fields. Provides resolution to a diverse scope and range of complex problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Contributes to the development of organization’s goals and objectives. Frequent communication with internal teams and with outside customer contacts. Represents the organization on projects and may perform in project leadership role and/or may supervise the activities of lower level personnel (exempt professional and non-exempt).

Qualifications:

3-5 Years of Experience in Accounting & Finance, or related field 2+ Years in a Sr. Accountant/Analyst role Audit experience preferred Advanced Excel experience required (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) Knowledge of Month end close process Bachelors Degree in Accounting, or related field Experience in an ERP Systems, preferably Oracle Holds CPA, CPA Candidate preferred
