Our client, a downtown Toronto law firm, focused on commercial leasing, commercial real estate, and litigation. Their clients include entrepreneurial and institutional land developers, construction companies, commercial landlords, property managers, space users and commercial tenants.
About the Role
The firm is currently in search of an Associate Lawyer to join their team, focusing on a unique opportunity to gain exposure to complex, interesting commercial litigation work. The role involves handling a diverse caseload with a focus on construction and general litigation matters.
What You Bring
- 4-6 years' post-call experience, ideally in Commercial and general litigation
- Confidence in managing construction law matters and court appearances
- Excellent drafting skills with experience in court appeals
- Ability to fit within a laid-back yet professional office environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to engage clients effectively
- Proven track record of handling a diverse caseload independently
