The Avaya Program Manager plays a pivotal role in orchestrating complex IT projects within a Telecom environment, focusing on Avaya platform programs using Kanban methodologies. Key Responsibilities:

The Avaya Program Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end project lifecycles. This includes managing integrated technology solutions, handling digital transformations, and overseeing upstream processes encompassing business requirements gathering, scoping, chartering, planning, and scheduling.

Resource management is central to this role. The Avaya Program Manager conducts in-depth resource analysis, ensuring precise cost estimates and budget management. Kanban methodologies are used to optimize workflow processes and resource allocation efficiently.

Comprehensive documentation is vital. The Avaya Program Manager develops extensive project documentation using Kanban boards and maintains continuous reporting for better visibility. Monitoring project health through performance metrics, Kanban data analysis, and financial data analysis guides informed decisions.

Change control and risk management are paramount. The Avaya Program Manager implements robust protocols to maintain project alignment. Identifying and mitigating project risks, especially those related to Avaya platforms, is a key focus.

Effective collaboration and communication are essential. The Avaya Program Manager facilitates status meetings to proactively identify and resolve obstacles, fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams. Building and nurturing client relationships are critical for positioning Avaya platform projects for sustained success.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, or a related field.

- Advanced project management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred.

- 4-5 years of direct experience managing multifaceted IT implementations, with a focus on Avaya platforms.

- Demonstrated track record of successfully executing projects within defined constraints, including Avaya-related programs.

- Expertise in selecting and integrating project management approaches, including both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

- Exceptional analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and effective communication.

Mandatory Skills:

- Thorough understanding of the technical landscape within the client's domain, encompassing IT infrastructure, networking protocols, cloud computing, cybersecurity principles, software development methodologies, and relevant industry standards.

- Proficiency in utilizing project management tools, such as Jira or Microsoft Project, collaboration platforms like Slack or Teams, and technical tools specific to the client's operations, including those related to Avaya platforms.

- Ability to oversee and manage projects requiring complex systems integration, ensuring seamless interoperability and functionality across various platforms and technologies, including Avaya.

- Proficient in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating technical risks, whether they involve infrastructure vulnerabilities, software defects, or compatibility challenges, with a specific focus on Avaya platforms.

- Capability to translate client requirements into technical solutions, aligning them with the client's offerings and capabilities, especially in the context of Avaya platform projects.

Preferred Skills:

- Advocacy for a culture of continuous improvement, empowering teams to propose and implement process enhancements and technical innovations, particularly within Avaya platform programs.

- Competence in crafting comprehensive project strategies that align with both technical requirements and the overarching business objectives of the client and its stakeholders, with a focus on Avaya platforms.

- Strong decision-making skills, adept at resolving conflicts and making informed choices that balance technical feasibility with business imperatives, especially in the context of Avaya platform projects.
