As the Client Advisor , you will be joining a positive, dynamic, and tenured team of insurance professionals who focus on Personal Lines in the High Net Worth segment of Marsh’s Private Client Services. We are a National team across Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, and Montreal, consisting of Client Advisors, Client Representatives, and leadership. In the first few months, you will have the opportunity to become acquainted with your team, clients, Marsh's culture, processes, and training, enabling you to excel in your role.

We will count on you to:

Respond to client inquiries promptly and ensure accurate completion/submission of client requests in accordance with carrier guidelines Analyze, counsel, and recommend coverages through addressing coverage gaps, identifying cross selling opportunities, etc. Provide quotes and market proposals on coverages based on thorough discovery and needs analysis, and complete applications in accordance with carrier guidelines and timelines Proactively engage and complete annual renewal reviews to ensure clients’ ever changing needs from a coverage and pricing perspective are maintained Obtain claims information with empathy and accuracy, submit to carriers in a timely manner, and provide claims education to all clients Possess a growth mindset and strive to close on new business opportunities with a concerted effort in writing profitable business and monitor that profitability going forward Utilize the broker management system to efficiently enter and maintain all prospect and client account information, and ensure accounts receivables are always collected and current Establish and maintain strong, productive, and ongoing referral relationships both internally and externally as well as with all colleagues, clients, centers of influence and carrier partners Proven personal credibility, accountability and act with integrity and reputation. Exercise sound judgement, strategic thinking and strong problem-solving skills to deliver effective solutions Participate in all mandatory training to ensure all regulatory requirements are met and compliant with best practices, professional standards, and internal policies and procedures Stay up to date with annual insurance licensing requirements and complete necessary courses to maintain current and valid licenses

What you need to have: 

Max 3-4 bullet points 10 years of experience in Personal Lines 5 years of client facing experience with significant exposure and knowledge of the high-net-worth client & carriers RIBO license or ability to obtain one in 3 months, as well as other provincial licenses as required Strong insurance knowledge across all asset classes on various topics but not limited to underwriting, pricing, claims, and cross border exposures Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal & written), and presentation skills Great organizational and time management skills Positivity combined with a sense of urgency and attention to detail managing deadlines and competing requests; self-starter Proficient in MS Office such as Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel & PowerPoint
