We are seeking an Application Engineer to work closely with field application engineering, product management, business development, and internal engineering teams on design wins for our Odin™ Silicon Photonics platform.
Responsibilities generally include:
Work closely with FAE team and internal engineering teams to support lab hardware testing, SW test scripts development and system level testingSupport the integration and bring up of internal and customer platforms that incorporate Ranovus’ productsProvide hardware demonstrations to customers and at key industry eventsPrepare and contribute to technical and marketing collateral for internal use and customers/partners (application notes, etc.)Required skills and experience:
Engineering experience in a semiconductor or telecom/datacom systems company2+ years hands-on experience in the areas of SerDes and electrical/optical interconnect products (hardware and software) with a focus on datacenter and embedded systemsExperience working in a highly technical environment supporting datacom products and customersExcellent interpersonal relationship managementHands-on bring up and testing experience of optical communications and/or networking products and systemsFamiliarity with optical communications systems, silicon photonics, and data centre technologiesFamiliarity with industrial standards such as IEEE 802.3 Ethernet, OIF, PCIe/CXL, MSAsExcellent verbal and written communications skills (English essential)Detail oriented, excellent analytical and trouble shooting skillsSelf-starting and comfortable working in a highly technical, dynamic, cross-functional team environmentRequired education:
