Robert Half is seeking a Total Rewards Manager for our Downtown client within the mining industry. The ideal candidate will be proactive, experienced, a keen collaborative and someone who is hands on. This is a newly created position, with ample opportunity to make it your own through spearheading projects, HRIS, developing out best practice and procedures in line with the company's strategic goals.

The Total Rewards Manager will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive compensation and benefits programs that attract, retain, and motivate talent. Reporting directly to the VP of HR, this position will ensure that our total rewards strategy aligns with the organization's goals and complies with legal and regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities:


Compensation Strategy:

○ Develop and manage competitive compensation structures, including salary bands and incentive programs.

○ Conduct market research to ensure alignment with industry standards and best practices.

Benefits Administration:

○ Oversee the design and administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.

○ Evaluate and recommend new benefit programs to enhance employee satisfaction.

Compliance and Reporting:

○ Prepare and present reports on total rewards metrics and analytics to senior management.

Employee Engagement:

○ Collaborate with HR and management to communicate total rewards programs effectively.

○ Analyze employee feedback and engagement surveys to identify areas for improvement in rewards and recognition.

Budget Management:

○ Develop and manage the total rewards budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.

○ Monitor program costs and analyze the financial impact of total rewards initiatives.

Project Management:

○ Lead and participate in projects related to total rewards, such as program redesigns and system implementations.

○ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational initiatives.


Requirements:


• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; and/or CPHR designation

• 10+ years of experience in compensation and benefits management.

• Strong knowledge of compensation trends, benefits programs, and labor market analysis.

• Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.

• Experience with HRIS and compensation management software is a plus.
