Jobdescription

To supportand align major investments in the modernization of ourinfrastructure (network data center) the candidate will be expectedto:

  • Establish the strategyand roadmap for the infrastructure modernizationprogram.
  • Provide strategic andtechnical guidance to implementationteams.
  • Collaborate with otherenterprise architects to maintain the corporateroadmap.
  • Monitor technologicaltrends to recommend relevant business solutions and promisingemergingtechnologies.

Aptitudes:

  • Excellentinterpersonal communication and influencing skills with the abilityto establish and maintain relationships with business partnersproject stakeholders and strategic technologypartners.
  • Ability to make decisionsby understanding and explaining the tradeoffs between businessimplementation and economic impacts related to technologicalconcerns.
  • Excellent ability tosimplify and transform complex concepts into accessibledeliverables.
  • Knowledge ofenterprise architecture methodologies (anasset)


Requirements

RequiredSkills:

  • Atleast 15 years of experience in information technology with a focuson infrastructure (GCP) andnetworking.
  • At least 10 years ofexperience as an infrastructure architect preferably inmanufacturingenvironments.
  • Demonstrated expertisein interacting with business sectors at a strategic level(Directors VPs and seniormanagement).
  • Ability to travel tothe various offices of our client occasionally (CanadaUS).
  • Permanent resident or Canadiancitizen
  • Bilingualism (spoken/written) in FrenchandEnglish.




Required: - 15+ years of experience in information technology(GCP), with a focus on infrastructure and networking. - 10+ yearsof experience as an infrastructure architect, preferably inmanufacturing environments. - Demonstrated expertise in interactingwith business sectors at a strategic level (Directors, VPs, andsenior management). - Ability to occasionally travel to the variousoffices of our client (Canada, US). - Experience with LAN: CiscoWAN: Palo Alto Virtualization: VMware VDI: Nutanix Cloud: GoogleCloud Platform EDR: Crowdstrike - Permanent resident or CanadianCitizen - Bilingualism (spoken/written) in French and English.Asset: - Knowledge of enterprise architecturemethodologies
