We are currently seeking a NACE(AMPP) CIP Level 2 Coating Inspector in our fabrication shop in SE (8700 Venture Ave SE, not transit-accessible.)

What we’re looking for from you – If this describes you, we’d love to meet
- Possess CWB Level 1 Certification
- NACE(AMPP) CIP Level 2 Coating Inspector Certification
- Have 2+ years of Quality Control experience in a fabrication environment
- Have a solid understanding of ASME and CSA codes and practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Flexible to learn new tasks or different client expectations
- Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to review numerous types of documentation for errors, discrepancies and missing information
Your Accountabilities
- Complete dimension and visual inspections of welded piping and structural steel
- Record welders symbols, heat numbers and radiography numbers on drawings and travel sheets
- Prepare documentation for, and inspect hydrostatic & pneumatic pressure tests
- Install name plates, coordinate inspections with ABSA, NDE Contractors and Client TPI's
- Complete Quality Control paperwork
