Position Summary

Reporting to the Principal, the teachers will implement programs and curriculum in assigned classes (Chinese, Music, Arts and Culture, Physical Activity, Mathematics, Science, and Chinese Input) of the to maximize the student’s learning experience.

Main Duties 主要職責：

Deliver programs and prepare teaching material according to the curriculum and as approved by the Principal; Instruct students utilizing various teaching methods; Keep and maintain students’ attendance records; Contact parents under Chinese School’s policies when a student has been absent; Implement the fire drill procedure in the classroom when necessary; Supervise students during recess time; Communicate with parents regarding student’s progress and problems if required; Attend teacher’s meetings and assist with school events; Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time. 根據課程內容准備教學材料和提供課程和教學; 指導學各種教學方法; 保持學生出勤記錄; 組織設計夏令營匯報表演; 在必要時在教室中實施防火演習程序; 在休息和午餐時間監督學生; 如果需要，與家長溝通學生的進步和/或問題; 參加教師會議並協助學校活動; 可能不時分配的任何其他職責。

Qualifications 資格 :

Previous teaching experience, preferably with PE teaching experience in Ontario; Teachers’ College Diploma, University graduate, or equivalent; ECE Diploma is preferred for Chinese teachers in junior classes; Good command of Cantonese, Mandarin, and/or English; Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization, and supervisory skills; Available to work from July 2, 2024 to August 2, 2024, Monday to Friday 說標準普通話或廣東話(數學教師以英語為教學語言) 有幼兒小學教學經驗(本地經驗優先) 具教師文憑或大專教育文憑或相關學歷文憑 二零二四年七月二日至八月二日，週一至週五工作
