Work with a long-standing, well-established local business with excellent employee relations and employees with long tenures.

Our client is looking for a Production Assembler to join their team. Experience is a must. Willingness to work Monday to Friday is also a must.

Overview of the position:

Straight Day shift - 7-3:30PM - Monday to Friday
Rate of pay - $19-22 per hour (based on work experience)
Must have own tools
Must be able to lift to 50lbs (heavy lifting is required in this role)
Welding experience is an asset in this role but not mandatory
Experience with Assembly and working in heavy industrial environments is a MUST

Advantages

Responsibilities
What YOU will be doing as a Production Assembler in Ajax:
- Pulling cables through tubing via winch, cutting hose to specific lengths, cutting cable to specific lengths and assembling according to blueprints
- Soft soldering
- Pressure testing with provided equipment
- Sandblasting and painting product
- Assist in the shipping department as needed

Qualifications
What YOU bring to the role of Production Assembler in Ajax:

- Able to lift up to 50lb
- Able to use power tools such a grinder, power drill, cut off saw, etc.
- Knowledge of using hand tools, wrenches and screwdrivers, etc...
- You have your own basic hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, hammer)
