Summary of responsibilities:
  • Review work orders and discuss them with the supervisor;
  • Perform preventive maintenance and general repairs of heavy vehicles;
  • Diagnose and repair the pneumatic system, the electrical system and the cabin elements;
  • Carry out repairs on all vehicle components;
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components on trucks and trailers;
  • Perform scheduled maintenance services such as; oil changes, lubrications and tune-ups

 

Qualifications:
  • DVS in heavy vehicle mechanics or other related field;
  • 8 + years of experience in heavy truck mechanics;
  • French and English (spoken and reading - functional level in order to follow American manufacturers' warranty repair processesunctional level) ;
  • Possess a valid Class 5 driver's license (class 1 - bonus);
  • Possess a tool box as well as your enrolment to the Comité Paritaire d'Automobiles (CPA)
