Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician - Appliance Maintenance to join our team at Source Oméga inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance on appliances, testing and verifying their functionality, and ensuring they are in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance on appliances, including cooling units, drinking water fountains, and other equipment.
  • Test and verify the functionality of appliances to ensure they are working properly.
  • Perform filter changes, wash and sanitize appliances, tanks, faucets, and tubing, and inspect and adjust as needed.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure appliances meet our high standards.
  • Respond to service calls, perform tests and verifications to detect problems, and make necessary repairs.
  • Ensure all units are functional before leaving the client's premises.
  • Uninstall units as needed, bring them to the workshop for inspection and/or repair, and communicate with the dispatcher to coordinate schedules.
  • Respect the schedule prepared by the dispatcher and communicate with them before leaving each customer.
  • Keep the vehicle clean and neat, and perform any related tasks assigned by management.
  • Be prepared to travel to our customers in Quebec City, Drummondville, Trois-Rivières, Ottawa, and Toronto areas, and sleep there as needed. Paid accommodation and meals will be reimbursed upon presentation of receipt.

Requirements

  • High school diploma (an asset).
  • Minimum (basic) experience in electricity, plumbing, and/or refrigeration. If the candidate has no experience in plumbing or electricity, training will be provided in the office and on the road.
  • Be bilingual verbally (an asset).
  • Have a valid driving license.
  • Respect and apply the decisions of superiors.
  • Fast learner, hardworking, autonomous, meticulous, discreet, and resistant to stress.
  • Highly skilled manually, attention to details, and work well done.
  • Good interpersonal skills, good organizational skills, and sense of responsibility.
  • Good analytical, synthesis, and communication skills.
