Biologist/Avian Bird Sweeper

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

· Planning and implementing breeding bird and nest surveys across Manitoba

· Contractor liaison

· Preparing summaries of results (i.e. letter reports)

· Completing fieldwork in other disciplines as needed

· Working effectively in a team environment

Experience and Qualifications:

Degree in biology or Avian Bird Sweeper certification

Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite with proficiency in Excel

Valid Class 5 Driver's License and a Driver's abstract acceptable to the Company

This is a temporary position from May - August, 2024

$30-$34/hour depending on experience 

Overtime

Working alone in remote areas across Manitoba

Accommodation and per diem allowances will be paid.
